Blue Flower

This is picture I drew while I was in Germany. Luisa, the girl I was staying with, took my to her art class the first day I was there. The teacher showed my how to draw the basic shapes and then fill in the details. She gave me great advice on the coloring, how I should make the top part of the leaf yellow-y to bring it forward and to make the farther part of the leaves blue to show them in the back.

I found a painting of this type of flower in a magazine so it's not completely my idea, but the coloring is mine.

Sorry if the quality isn't that great, I had to take a picture because it's too big to scan.

I colored it using oil pastels.

Oh, and if anyone knows what type of flower this is, I'd love to know XP
